ABOUT

Chet joined HRE’s asset sales team in 2018, bringing more than 15 years’ experience in brokerage, property management and leasing. His extensive market knowledge and transactional expertise provide him with a unique combination of skills in planning and executing real estate sales. In the course of his career Chet has completed 100+ sale and lease transactions as well as underwriting and due diligence for dozens of large-scale commercial properties nationwide. Some notable tenants Chet has worked with include the City of Chicago, Walgreens, DLA Piper, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, and Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants. Prior to joining Hilco, Chet was with Millennium Properties in Chicago, and he previously worked as a commercial asset portfolio manager for Equity Residential (NYSE: EQR), a national apartment REIT. He also worked as a marketing and leasing broker for five office buildings in Chicago and Naperville for M&J Wilkow. Chet started his career as a Property Manager for Friedman Properties, managing over 1.5 million square feet in River North. Chet has also acted as an investment principal, purchasing and managing a portfolio of multi-family, office and retail properties. Chet earned a Master’s Degree in Real Estate from Roosevelt University School of Business and a Bachelor’s Degree from Indiana University. He is a licensed Illinois Real Estate Broker.
