After working in the medical field for 14 years, Cheree decided it was time for a change. She and her husband were real estate investors, so it was a natural transition for her to get her real estate license in 2013. What they thought would just make it easier for them to build their investment business has become an entirely separate entity. She has transitioned from full-time Nurse Anesthetist to full-time Realtor and they have continued to expand their rental business through multiple avenues including auctions, buy/hold, flipping, and 1031 exchanges. 2018 & 2019 were full of personal challenges with both she and her husband having health issues requiring surgery and a year-long recovery for Cheree. While she continued working, it was definitely not at the pace she was accustomed to doing. Now, as they start 2020, she is finally "back in the saddle" and her husband has joined her on the team! They have two children, 18 & 20, who are currently a high school senior and a sophomore at Kansas State University. They also have two dogs, Stella and Juliet. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, cooking, photography, fitness, and traveling.
