Carter focuses on the operational component of both the firm’s current commercial real estate portfolio and potential acquisitions. Carter is an active member of an investment committee which oversees $300 million in acquisitions per year spread over 1031 exchanges and traditional garden-style apartments. In addition, he has managed multifamily portfolio dispositions as well as a Southeast single-family portfolio disposition for a major multifamily REIT. Prior to Collison Capital, Carter worked for McKinley Inc. as a commercial portfolio manager and receiver. Carter holds both a B.S. in International Business & Finance and a Masters in Real Estate from Georgetown University.
