Carl Hocker

A Spartanburg native, Carl joined Reedy Property Group in 2016, overseeing 800+ doors as Director of Property Management. In 2024, Carl transitioned into commercial brokerage, implementing numerous innovative strategies that have streamlined property services for owners and tenants alike. He utilizes his knowledge of short and long-term investment opportunities to guide the success of his client’s portfolios, providing sound advice with asset management. Carl has found early success in the leasing and sales of flex buildings, office spaces and restaurants. Carl attended The Citadel and the University of South Carolina Upstate where he played collegiate tennis. After college, Carl spent nearly a decade at The Country Club of Spartanburg traveling the country coaching high-level junior players at camps and tournaments. As a South Carolina tennis professional and USTA representative at several competitions, Carl has transferred his knowledge and skills of teamwork, discipline, and work ethic to a successful career at Reedy. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, University of Kentucky Athletics, collecting rare bourbon and fine spirits, and spending quality time with his wife and daughter, their black Labrador retriever, family, and friends.
