Brooks Battle

Brooks T. Battle is a Partner of Avalon Real Estate Partners, acquired by Walker & Dunlop in 2022. In his role as Managing Director, Mr. Battle is responsible for land sales throughout the southeast representing both buyers and sellers. He brings a strong track record of over 27 years of real estate finance experience and over seven years with Avalon Real Estate Partners. Prior to joining AREP, Mr. Battle was Managing Director at Core Property Capital, an Atlanta-based real estate development and investment firm, where he led an acquisition team that acquired more than $700 million of income-producing properties and the deployment of more than $190 million of equity capital. Previously, he served as Managing Partner for Glandon Capital Group, a commercial loan origination, acquisition, and servicing firm. He was also a significant part of the team at RBC Centura Bank, the U.S. banking arm of RBC Financial Group, which was responsible for more than $300 million of origination financing for commercial acquisitions and construction financing. Brooks earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
