Brian Stoy
Brian Stoy is the President of Common Sail Investment’s Development I Acquisition I Capital Group. He has been with the company for 29 years. Under his leadership the company has grown into one of the leading owner/operators of senior housing in the United States. Today with over 2,500 employees, the StoryPoint and Independence Village communities serve thousands of seniors and their families across multiple states. Mr. Stoy has extensive experience in senior housing and throughout his career has held numerous positions in the organization ranging from field maintenance and operations at the properties to President. This unique background has given him great perspective on all aspects of the business from the property level serving residents to the role he holds today. Over his career he has been involved in the structuring, acquisition, and development of $1B of senior housing assets. More recently, under Mr. Stoy’s direction, the company has completed over $140,000,000 new senior housing projects. He has served on numerous for-profit and non-profit boards and is currently serving the University of Michigan’s Program for Positive Aging.
