Brian Rieger

With over 25 years of commercial real estate experience for institutional investors, Brian joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago in 2009 to focus on commercial opportunities for individual clients in the Chicago area. Brian handles all types of commercial properties: office, retail, industrial, multi-family and land. He represents buyers and sellers, and landlords and tenants. While he works primarily with owners and users, he also represents a small number of private investors. He is a short sale specialist representing opportunistic buyers as well as sellers of distressed properties. He is a professional who prides himself on listening to his clients, following up on details and communicating easily and often. Having grown up and raised his family on the North Shore for the past 35 years, Brian has a keen insight and appreciation for the area. He has always had a strong interest in real estate and his background as both an attorney and developer of commercial real estate gives him a wealth of real estate expertise. Brian holds a BS degree from the University of Illinois with a major in Business Administration and a JD from DePaul University College of Law. Brian and his wife Sharon have two grown daughters. He enjoys golf, tennis and travel. He is a former member of the Northbrook Senior Housing Commission and past President and a current Director of the Epilepsy Services of Northeastern Illinois.
