Brian Jones

Executive Vice President of Leasing, Brian Jones directs the management of all retail leasing activity and provides leadership support to Select Strategies team of leasing professionals. A 25 year commercial real estate professional, Mr. Jones’ leasing background encompasses the development and execution of leasing plans for a broad spectrum of retail projects ranging from super-regional malls to non-anchored neighborhood centers. His development and redevelopment experience includes regional mall redevelopments, mall anchor replacements, large box redevelopments, movie theaters, grocery and drug stores, small shops and several non-retail projects. Throughout his career, Mr. Jones has also worked closely with municipalities in obtaining entitlements and approvals for projects as well as public financing for projects through various venues. He held past positions with Kimco Realty Corporation, The Taubman Company, Colonial Properties Trust and Bayer Properties. Prior to working in commercial real estate, Mr. Jones was a regional buyer for a national department store chain and brings an in-depth prospective to the needs, challenges and business models of the retail industry. A licensed real estate broker in multiple states, Mr. Jones holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Wofford College with dual studies in Finance and Economics.
