Brett McNamee

Brett specializes in the sales and leasing of commercial real estate throughout Central and Western Virginia. Brett joined Divaris Real Estate, Inc. in 1994 when the firm opened its Richmond office. She has served as Senior Vice President of both the Richmond and Charlotte, NC offices and Principal of the Richmond o?ce. Brett has consistently been a top producer for Divaris in both office and retail transactions since she joined the firm. She was responsible for two of the largest law firm leases in Richmond, including the headquarters locations for Hirschler Fleischer and LeClairRyan, a Professional Corporation, and managed transactions with clients HKS Architects, Ernst & Young, Schittene & Nguyen and Fuel Creative. She was the exclusive leasing agent for Forest City Enterprises in Richmond’s Tobacco Row District. Brett has represented numerous retailers expanding and relocating in Central and Western Virginia as well as Eastern Tennessee. On the investment side, she has extensive experience selling shopping centers, office buildings and investment properties. Brett was named by Chain Store Age as one of the “Top 15 Real Estate Heavyweights” in the nation in 2013. Brett is a Co-Star Power Broker and in 2009 was selected by Virginia Business Magazine as one of the Top Five commercial real estate women in the Commonwealth. In 2010, she was selected as one of Richmond’s Top 20 commercial real estate women by CREW Richmond. Brett was recently added to the prestigious Virginia Commonwealth University Real Estate Circle of Excellence in recognition of her contributions to the real estate industry and its many business and community activities.
