Brent Story

Brent Story is the founder and president of Avalon Real Estate Partners, founded in 2010 and acquired by Walker & Dunlop in 2022. In his role, Mr. Story is responsible for managing the southeast land team and growing future opportunities for the platform. As the firm’s founder, Mr. Story brings more than 15 years of experience in the Atlanta market in brokerage, land development and redevelopment sales. At Avalon, he managed over $1B of total land sales. Prior to Avalon Real Estate Partners, Mr. Story worked at Major and Arroll where he was a licensed real estate broker focusing on land transactions, and McColgan & Company as a licensed real estate appraiser. Over the past 10 years, Mr. Story has consistently ranked among the top producing land brokers in the Atlanta market with the majority of transactions accounting for multifamily, industrial and large raw land tracts for development. Mr. Story earned his Bachelor of Science in Real Estate from the University of Georgia. He is also active with multiple charitable organizations around Atlanta, a Peachtree Road United Methodist Church member, and an avid outdoorsman.
