Blake Thomas began his career in commercial real estate with Southpace in 2013. His areas of expertise for retailers and food operations include market analysis, competitor assessment, market development plans, demographic analysis, traffic pattern assessment, site selection, lease/contract negotiation, strategic planning and retail development consulting. Blake’s areas of expertise for third-party leasing includes property assessment, property re-positioning, trade area analysis, leasing plan development, merchandise and tenant analysis and LOI negotiation. Blake’s transaction volume has exceeded $76M. Blake has been recognized as one of Southpace’s Top 5 Producers from 2016 through 2021 and was also award the CoStar Power Broker in 2016 and 2018. He was named one of Birmingham’s Rising Stars of Real Estate and Construction by the Birmingham Business Journal in 2018 and 2019. Blake is a CCIM Candidate and the former co-chair of the Retail Broker Network’s Next Generation Council.
