He has more than 20 years of investment sales and financial management experience and specializes in retail agency and tenant representation. Blake has a diverse background in retail brokerage including retail commercial leasing, ground up retail development, site selection, and investment sales. Some of his past clients include Primrose Schools, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Pinot’s Palette, Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy, Pet Valu, Sherwin-Williams and Waxing The City. His recent transactions include the sale of a 55,000 square foot building in Somerset County, 3.5 acres of land in Randolph for the development of a 40,000 square foot facility and a 15,000 square foot mixed-use facility in Madison. Blake was the finance manager at his family’s automotive dealership in Summit NJ, where he was consistently ranked in the top 4% nationwide for all the Chrysler Group’s salesforce and developed a reputation as an effective salesman who excels at garnering trust and closing deals. Blake transitioned into the commercial real estate industry in 2014 and was responsible for establishing new relationships with local business owners, regional landlords, and national retailers, while specializing in new store development and site selection for several national companies. Blake studied business at Old Dominion University after earning his associates degree at County College of Morris. He holds a real estate license in the state of New Jersey and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC)
