He began an active second career in commercial real estate brokerage in 1994 with Heritage Properties, Inc., of Jackson, prior to forming his own commercial real estate firm. Professional CCIM, (Certified Commercial Investment Member), Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute, GRI, Graduate Real Estate Institute, Individual Member SIOR (Society of Industrial and Office Realtors), Charter Member of the Mississippi Commercial Association of Realtors, Member of International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Education: BA Degree in 1960 from Vanderbilt University, Licensed Broker in Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, and Tennessee.
