Bhavin Thakker

Bhavin Thakker is the Managing Director of the India Desk at the Americas, a part of the Cross Border Tenant Advisory team; and is based in New York. Bhavin is the bridge between Savills North America and Savills India – for client assignments and opportunities executed in both geographies. Bhavin is seen as a valuable asset as he uses his expertise to identify early-stage opportunities with clients that have real estate interests in North America and India. Bhavin joined the firm in 2014 and was a founding member of Savills India. He worked in various roles, and in his last one, he was responsible for the Mumbai operations across all service lines and provided leadership over Cross Border Tenant Advisory in India. Bhavin has prior experience working in leadership roles at Cushman & Wakefield and Savills Investment Management. Bhavin has more than 20 years of experience in the real estate brokerage and client management industry with a focus on India. His extensive experience in consulting, project management, and facilities management affords each client a well-rounded approach to overall strategic thought and long-term solutions. Prior to joining Savills, Bhavin lived and worked in New Delhi, Bengaluru, and Mumbai in India. Bhavin served as the Chair of CoreNet Global’s India Chapter in 2020-2021, and was on the India board from 2018 to 2022. Bhavin has also volunteered with Round Table and 41er Club.
