Betty Powell
Betty Powell obtained her broker’s license in July of 2022 and joined the American Heritage Realty Team. Betty loves working with people and has a strong positive perspective of our community and area. Betty worked at Fayette Bank & Trust Co. for ten years with her last position being Branch Manager at the 30th Street location. Betty has a Masters Degree in special education and worked in the education field for 23 years. Betty is a lifelong member of St. Gabriel Church and a member of the Daughters of Isabella. Her passion for the community is shown through her work as a Discover Connersville Board Member, Chamber Diplomat, and Fayette County Community Voices Board Member. Betty belongs to the local Board of Realtors, Kappa Kappa Sigma Sorority, and ESO/GFWC book club. Betty has been married to her husband, Jeff, for forty-seven years. Betty has watched and learned from Jeff, a real estate broker for over 35 years. Betty wants to serve the community with honesty, trust, loyalty, commitment just as she has seen Jeff work. She begins this new journey with excitement and enthusiasm. Betty enjoys golfing with family and friends. Family is very important to Betty and she loves the family days together mostly – grilling out, attending a Red’s game, and the Holidays. Betty and Jeff have two sons, Justin and Matt, as well as, four grandchildren Madison, Lydia, Jackson and Jay.
