A Manhattan native, Bert has proudly represented hundreds of firms in New York City ranging from start-ups and small businesses to Fortune 500 clients, including General Assembly, GE Capital, Assembled Brands, & Patek Philippe. Prior to its acquisition, Bert co-founded Vicus Partners, a commercial real estate firm dedicated exclusively to representing tenants. Bert is on the Board of Leadership Enterprise For A Diverse America (LEDA), the Board of Defy Ventures, and sits on the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) Arbitration Board after serving the maximum term on its Commercial Board of Directors. He is a member of Entrepreneurs Organization, United Jewish Association’s Tech Board, and the Business Owners Council. He’s also a contributor to Eye to Eye, a non-profit organization focused on youth mentoring programs for dyslexic children. Bert is an avid runner and squash player, and lives in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn with his wife Varsha, daughter Damini and son Dagan.
