Benson Sainsbury

Benson is the Founder and President of InSite EFS. Benson’s first involvement with schools started in 1998 while working as Vice President of Development for a private preschool group overseeing site selection and real estate development. In 2004, he founded InSite as a traditional commercial brokerage firm as well as BPSDG, a California based real estate development company. In 2007, Benson had the opportunity to work with his first charter school in California. Seeing that most schools were poorly represented by either residential real estate brokers or commercial brokers with little to no experience with the complexity of school real estate projects, he formed InSite EFS. Throughout Benson’s career, he has worked in various capacities for several real estate and brokerage development companies, both as a broker and a developer. His experience encompasses charter and private school development as well as site selection and over the past 28 years has included development experience in office, retail and residential projects. His responsibilities have included land acquisition, market research, and site selection for both regional and national tenants, development and entitlement work, construction management, sales, leasing and tenant representation. In his free time, Benson enjoys wakesurfing/wakeboarding with his family and friends, snowboarding and following Formula 1.
