Benny Nguyen, PE, CCIM

Benny Nguyen founded Halona Development in 2020 during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. He later joined Halona Realty in February 2022. As a Texas licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.), Benny brings civil engineering experience in design, feasibility, project management and construction administration to the Halona team. As a Texas licensed real estate agent and a Certified Commercial Investment Member, Benny also brings brokerage and investment expertise to the team. Prior to joining Halona Realty, Benny was a Vice President at Resolut RE (formerly Retail Solutions) where he provided commercial real estate brokerage services by representing buyers and sellers of commercial land and investment properties, as well as representing retail tenants and landlords across Texas. Benny has received many prestigious industry honors for his deal-making, including Power Broker Award from Costar (2018), and Retail Heavy Hitters by Houston Business Journal (2019, 2020 & 2021). Prior to joining Resolut RE, Benny was a development manager at TerraMark Ventures and at Cernus Development, and a land development engineer at BGE, Inc., where he played important development roles in residential community and commercial projects, such as the Cross Creek Ranch community in Fulshear, TX; Woodridge Forest community in Porter, TX; Woodson’s Reserve community in Spring, TX and Canyon Field Plaza in Richmond, TX.

  Benny received a B.S. and a M.E. degree in civil engineering from Texas A&M University. He also earned a M.B.A. from the University of Houston – Victoria. e is a Texas licensed Professional Engineer, as well as a Texas licensed real estate agent.
