Ben Lee

Ben Lee is an investment sales broker specializing in development sites and investment real estate across Los Angeles. He leads The Ben Lee Group, an advisory-focused brokerage team concentrating on development opportunities, multifamily investments, student housing assets, and affordable housing transactions. The team works with developers, private investors, and operators on opportunities where zoning, entitlements, and repositioning strategies materially influence value. Ben’s practice centers on identifying and structuring complex transactions requiring nuanced underwriting, market insight, and strategic execution. He is particularly active in development-driven opportunities, purpose-built and repositioned student housing investments, and projects with a meaningful affordability component. Prior to brokerage, Ben served as Director of Acquisitions for a New York-based real estate syndication focused on rent-regulated housing in the outer boroughs. Having worked across both New York and Los Angeles markets, he brings an acquisition-driven perspective to underwriting, risk assessment, and investment strategy. Originally from Los Angeles, Ben spent his formative years in Singapore, where he served as an Infantry Sergeant in the 9th Singapore Division. He later earned his BA in Finance from Baruch College in New York City. Outside of brokerage, Ben actively mentors early-career real estate professionals and remains deeply engaged in Los Angeles’ development and investment community.
