Barry Bernstein is a Executive Director / Leasing with over 34 years of commercial real estate experience. He started his real estate career at Helmsley – Spear, Inc. before joining Winoker Realty where he has been for 24 years before the firm was acquired and became EVO Real Estate Group. In addition to his tenant representation business, Mr. Bernstein is responsible for the management and leasing at 347 West 36th Street and 242 West 38th Street. Over the course of his career, he has represented the ownerships at 152 Madison Avenue, 229 West 28th Street, 1450 Broadway, 1040 Avenue of the Americas and 148 Madison Avenue. As exclusive agent for 229 West 28th Street since the building was acquired, Mr. Bernstein rebranded and repositioned the 12 story commercial asset. With 40% occupancy at closing, he re-tenanted the building, successfully completing the total renovation and leasing program by bringing it to 100% occupancy. Mr. Bernstein has completed many high profile transactions, several of which he represented exclusively, including Rogers & Hammerstein, ADT, Maxim Magazine, Jones Apparel Group, Tommy Hilfiger USA, Victoria Classics and Alok International.
