Barney McLaughlin

Barney McLaughlin is a Real Estate Broker and a Class A Contractor with McBar. He moved to the Chester area in 1978, after living in the Tidewater area. A graduate of Tabb High School in Tabb, VA, he attended the Richard Bland College of the College of William and Mary, where he received a scholarship in his second year and also was named to the Dean's List. Interested in construction and real estate at an early age, McLaughlin started framing houses at 16 and received his real estate license at 19. With McBar since 1986, he has built and remodeled both residential and commercial properties all around the tri-city area, the Tidewater region, and the Outer Banks of North Carolina. A past president of the Kiwanis, McLaughlin is a current member of the Chester Business Association. His hobbies include piloting small planes, having earned his pilot's license in 1983, and recreational boating. A respected member of the business community, McLaughlin's knowledge and expertise in construction and real estate serve to enhance the services that McBar Group offers its customers.
