Bailey Jones

Bailey has over 19 years of experience at highly regarded real estate private equity and development organizations, where he has focused on acquisitions and development, capital markets, operating partnerships, and fund formation. Bailey has led investments across the U.S. in residential, office, retail, hotel, and mixed-use. Prior to founding Portsmouth, Bailey spent ten years at Lionstone Investments where he served as Head of Acquisitions. During his tenure with the firm, he led the acquisitions team, served as a voting member of the investment committee, and was instrumental in establishing Lionstone’s platform for ground-up development concentrated in Texas and North Carolina. His previous roles include positions at Alliance Bernstein’s real estate private equity group in New York and The JBG Companies in Washington, DC. Bailey received an undergraduate degree in Economics and Public Policy from Duke University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where he majored in Real Estate and Finance. He lives in Houston, Texas with his wife and their four children.
