For 20 years< Arthur actively sought out properties, brokered the deals, developed the property, constructed homes and sold those homes. In his tenure in Southlake, Texas, Clayton & Clayton Real Estate built and developed four subdivisions (Napa Valley Estates, Evergreen Estates , Lakes on Dove Estates, and Beard Addition), along with over 40 custom homes. Clayton & Clayton Real Estate also expanded its development skills by developing over 8 different subdivisions varying size from 4 lots to 118 lots and commercial office spaces fronting onto Keller Parkway (Centerview Office Complex). In the summer of 2005 Clayton & Clayton Real Estate broke ground on developing a 7 acre tract in Irving, Texas for 94 custom townhomes. Clayton & Clayton Real Estate completed its construction and marketing The Manors at Valley Ranch, Ltd. in Irving, Tx. January 15, 2009. In the 3.5 years Clayton and Clayton Real Estate developed 98 lots with sewer, water, streets, built 50 luxury Townhomes, and sold 48 of the 50 townhouses. In 2009 Clayton & Clayton Real Estate and the family formed Clayton Fine Homes, LLC., a residential building company. The company built and closed four custom homes. The company also completed an office space in Las Colinas. Clayton & Clayton Real Estate has never lost its focus concerning the marketing of single family homes. Today, they have a very active Residential Real Estate Company. They have incorporated several aspects of the home building business into their real estate business.
