Andrew Smith
Andrew Smith is a finance and operations executive with a background in commercial real estate investment, management, reposition, and development with a passion for developing organizational structures and processes to reduce risk, develop employees, and efficiently balance resources. He has over 17 years of experience and oversees corporate and investment finance, operations, and investor relations for a hospitality-focused development, construction, and investment management firm. Prior to this, he was with regional operator Unico Properties LLC, where he had primary strategic oversight of a $1.65 billion portfolio of development and value-add assets in the Western United States on behalf of a global private equity firm. Prior roles at Unico included co-management of the company's first discretionary, value-add real estate fund with institutional LPs. He also managed value-add and development real estate investments with global private equity firm, Northwood Investors. Andrew began his career with a leading real estate investment management firm, Black Creek Group, where he worked on the purchase and management of core and core plus real estate investments.
