Andrea Hattan

I’m a fifth-generation entrepreneur and founder of The Hive Wichita. Since you’re on our site, you probably know that we’re a coworking space for women to focus on work they love around people who energize them. My mission is to empower women who run businesses to show up authentically by providing connections, support, and space to belong. I get asked to speak a lot, even at events the caliber of TEDx. The local Wichita community has cheered me on by naming me the Chamber’s 2022 Exceptional Young Leader and presenting The Hive with the Startup Innovation and Enterprise Award, among several others. Combining my background in education and marketing, I’ve built a trusted brand quickly and sustainably. I’m passionate about modeling inclusive leadership, especially for my young daughter and sons. When I’m not helping start and grow businesses, I enjoy discussing my latest hyperfixation over a cup of Earl Grey…or traveling somewhere with lots of trees, water, and mountains.
