Alex has over 10 years of experience in commercial real estate, specializing in financial underwriting, property valuations, and transaction management for market-rate and affordable multifamily projects. Alex brings both principal and brokerage expertise, having worked with institutional, affordable, and private client real estate owners on investment transactions nationwide. Previously, Alex served as Director of Finance at Matthews Real Estate Investment Services, overseeing finance and underwriting for the national multifamily platform. Before that, Alex worked at the NRP Group, one of the most active Class A and affordable multifamily developers in the country. At NRP, Alex was Senior Manager of Investments, responsible for asset management, transaction management, and financial underwriting of disposition and recapitalization transactions. During this time, Alex was part of a team that successfully closed over $2 billion in multifamily transactions.
