Alex Bergeson joined Newmark in 2017 as a Managing Director in the company’s West Los Angeles office. Mr. Bergeson specializes in landlord agency office leasing, tenant representation and investment sales. His current assignments include institutional office agencies on behalf of New York Life Real Estate Investors, Captiva Ventures, Westbrook Partners, Harbor Associates, Stockbridge, Ocean West Capital Partners, Fortress, Morgan Stanley, LBA Realty and Karney Properties. Over the course of his career, Mr. Bergeson has executed more than 250 lease transactions valued in excess of $150 million in total consideration. He has also sourced and executed approximately $210 million worth of commercial investment property sales. Mr. Bergeson began his real estate career in 2012 as a research and valuation analyst with CBRE. He later transferred to brokerage, where he handled a 1.5 million-square-foot office landlord agency portfolio on behalf of institutional ownerships that included Associated Television International, Atlantic Pearl Investments, Basic Media Properties, Intercontinental Real Estate Corp., Jamison Services, Legacy Partners, the Samuel Goldwyn Foundation, Sunset Sierra Properties, The Swig Co. and TA Associates. team.
