Alan Ratterree
Alan Ratterree co-founded InSite Realty, Inc. in 1994 to provide development, acquisition and leasing services to property owners and corporate end-users, and to capitalize on real estate investment opportunities in the Houston market. He is primarily focused on the acquisition and development of quality properties that fulfill the facility requirements of InSite Realty's corporate clients. After graduating from Texas A&M University in 1981, Alan joined Arco Oil and Gas Company as a petroleum engineer, where he spearheaded a multi-million dollar gas drilling effort in South Texas. In 1986, Alan enrolled in the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, where he earned an MBA in finance and real estate. Alan began his real estate career with Trammell Crow Company in Houston in 1988. His responsibilities as marketing principal included directing the leasing effort for several million square feet of existing properties and new developments, and negotiating the acquisition and disposition of land and industrial properties. At InSite, Alan has directed the development of over 2.0 million sq.ft. of institutional quality properties. Additionally, he has helped manage InSite's successful investments in over $70 million of value-added commercial properties.
