Alan has extensive experience in all aspects of general practice surveying and specialises in the industrial and general commercial development sectors. He is an expert in the acquisition and disposal of industrial property stock and the marketing of vacant space to secure occupiers. He has provided detailed advice on nearly all of the key industrial developments within the Greater Glasgow area over the past 15 years and has also been involved with the redevelopment of sites for a variety of uses such as residential, student accommodation, offices and retail. Alan manages the industrial agency and development team within the Glasgow office including professional and administrative staff. In 2013 the team was behind 33% of market deals according to Estates Gazette analysis and has been adjudged the most active industrial agency for the past 7 years.
