Adam McGaughy

Adam McGaughy is a Senior Managing Director in JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group based in Chicago. In addition to directing the group’s Central U.S. investment sales practice, Mr. McGaughy is involved in the marketing of individual select and full-service hotels transactions and leads the group’s National Hotel Portfolio Solutions Group. With over 30 years of hospitality sector experience, Mr. McGaughy has developed an extensive operational, sales and real estate background having worked for major corporations including CBRE Hotels (Hotel Partners), Omni Hotels & Resorts, Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Marriott International. Since joining JLL in 2006, Mr. McGaughy has been involved in the sale of hotel assets in the U.S. valued in excess of $10.0 billion. Mr. McGaughy is a graduate of The School of Hospitality Business at Michigan State University and holds a dual M.B.A. in real estate finance and marketing from DePaul University. He is a member of Michigan State University’s Hospitality Business Real Estate Advisory Board, where he also teaches a class on hotel valuation.
