Aaron Gillaspie is the President and CEO of the Willis Park Corporation, which owns and operates a portfolio of franchises across Texas. MY SALON Suite® / Salon Plaza are luxury brands where beauty professionals join together to build a community where everyone has the freedom to be their own boss. Prior to the MY SALON Suite and Salon Plaza, Aaron Gillaspie was the founder and Head of School at Brilla College Prep Public Charter School. Aaron completed a six-month Fellowship residency rotation during which he studied the best practices and challenges of urban high performing charter, private and public schools throughout the United States. Prior to his fellowship, Aaron served as a Teach for America corps member. He founded the 7th grade math program at Bed Stuy Collegiate, an Uncommon School. His students were ranked amongst the highest in New York State for their impressive academic gains – 100% of his students passed the New York State Mathematics Exam. A former fullback for the Nebraska Football program, Gillaspie experienced a lot of success on and off the field. He was named a HERO award winner and Brook Berringer Citizenship Team Member in 2008. Gillaspie's achievements go beyond the field into the classroom where he carried a 3.77 GPA and 4-time member of the All Big 12 Academic Team. Aaron has also followed his love for sports, youth and entrepreneurship by founding Mission Strength, a non-profit that provides High School athletes in low-income communities a Christian environment for a strength and conditioning program. Raised in Littleton, Colorado, Aaron attended the University of Nebraska, where he played football for the Huskers and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Entrepreneurship Management. Aaron also holds a Masters in Education from Hunter College and a Masters in Educational Administration and Supervision from National Louis University.
