Located at the new interchange of the Highway 16 Bypass (opened 2011) and Highway 150 between Lincolnton & Mooresville, Bridgewater is a multi-use development zoned to allow 460,000 square feet of retail and 240,000 square feet of office/industrial space. Catawba County is underway with a major sewer extension project that will deliver services to this site by early 2015. Bridgewater is slated to be the principal commercial/retail campus on the under-served western side of Lake Norman with a primary trade area of 125,000 residents.
