Colliers Hotels has been retained by Powell Associates Ltd. in its capacity as court-appointed receiver of 686949 N.B. Ltd. and not in its personal capacity to act as advisor and exclusive agent in connection with the sale of the 132-key hotel located at 919 Canada Road in Edmundston, New Brunswick (“Hotel”, or “Property”). The Hotel is currently not operating and will be sold on an “as-is, where-is” basis, with no representations or warranties provided by the Receiver.
Formerly branded under the Quality Inn and Travelodge flags, the Hotel is currently not operating and is being offered fully unencumbered by both brand and management and is not unionized, providing full flexibility for a new owner to explore various branding, management, and renovation strategies.
With 132 keys, an indoor pool, restaurant, +4,000 SF of meeting space and additional facilities, the Hotel is the largest in Edmundston and presents a rare opportunity to relaunch a substantial lodging operation with strong operating potential in a vibrant Atlantic Canada market.
