City of Albuquerque is planning to add a signalized intersection to Central and 90th Street, a bike lane and sidewalks along Central Avenue in 2027. At that time, westbound Bridge Blvd traffic will turn right on 90th Street then left on Central Avenue. The decommissioning of this section of Bridge can allow the parcels currently across the street from each other to be joined by vacating the section of Bridge that was decommissioned.
