Welcome to The Cunningham on 9 Canal Street. Formerly the headquarters of the James Cunningham Son And Co. carriage and automobile manufactory. The cars and carriages built at this site possessed world renown quality and were often considered the Rolls Royce of American luxury vehicles. With the rise of Henry Ford's leadership in manufacturing automation, the Cunningham lost relevancy and market share. When the factory shuttered in the mid 1900s this historic building sat dormant for almost 20 years until just recently when OakGrove Development purchased the building to reactivate it into artist studios and makers space!
