MYRIAD PUBLIC MARKET | OPENING WINTER 2027
Myriad Public Market is a new 43,000 SF, four-level food hall being built in the heart of Rosemead with one goal in mind: to create a place that feels like it truly belongs in the San Gabriel Valley.
Instead of chasing the next viral concept, Myriad is being thoughtfully curated around restaurants, chefs, makers, and operators who care deeply about what they do and want to build something with staying power. Ownership is looking for strong concepts that complement one another, serve the surrounding community, and give people a reason to come back again and again.
The project will feature 26 unique spaces ranging from intimate 170 SF kiosks to 3,800 SF anchor opportunities, with restaurants, cafés, bars, dessert concepts, local makers, and other complementary uses spread across four distinct levels.
At the top of Myriad is something especially unique to the market: open-air rooftop dining and bars with shaded patios, a glass greenhouse bar, and mountain views. Throughout the rest of the project, open atriums, hanging gardens, communal seating, and chef-driven kitchens are designed to make Myriad feel less like a traditional food hall and more like a neighborhood gathering place.
Developed by DC Universal in collaboration with The Alchemists, Myriad is led by longtime Southern California restaurateur and concept creator Leonard Chan. Leonard has spent years creating and operating restaurants of his own and consulting on food halls throughout Southern California. His approach to Myriad is equally hands-on: every prospective operator is personally considered not just for what they sell, but for how they fit into the larger vision of the project.
The result is intended to be a collection of businesses that work with one another, not simply next to one another.
Located a half mile away from the 10 fwy, Myriad sits adjacent to Rosemead Library and City Hall and across from Pasadena City College's new Rosemead campus. The project will also benefit from approximately 450 parking spaces between private and adjacent public parking.
Ownership is seeking:
- Chef-driven and owner-operated restaurants
- Established local and regional favorites
- Thoughtful food, beverage, dessert, and cafe concepts
- Rooftop restaurant and bar operators
- Local makers and complementary retail
- New concepts backed by experienced, passionate operators
- Businesses interested in becoming part of the community for the long haul
Every space is an opportunity to bring someone special into the mix. We’re building a collection of operators who care about what they do, complement one another, and create a place the community can grow with for years to come.
