South Los Angeles is located between two major job
centers: Downtown Los Angeles and Culver City.
Downtown Los Angeles has a daytime population of
approximately 207,000 people and hosts a large
concentration of firms in the legal, utilities, accounting,
and financial services sectors, as well as numerous
federal, state, and local government agencies. In
contrast, Culver City has a workforce that is more
focused on creative industries, including arts, design,
entertainment, sports, and media.
