OVERVIEW
The Architects Golf Club hereafter also referred to as “The Architects” seeks the service
of a qualified restaurant/catering firm to respond to this Request for Proposal (RFP) to
provide food, beverage and catering service for its Public Golf Course Restaurants/Grill
and Catering Hall.
This RFP process should result in establishing a restaurant/catering lease to provide
facility planning assistance, equipment, operation, management and maintenance of our
Restaurants/Grill as well as catering for weddings and other special events, golf outings,
and other reception type events. The Lessee will sell and manage all food, beverage and
catering operations in the clubhouse on behalf of The Architects Golf Club. The
Architects Golf Course is an upscale public golf course with a prestigious Clubhouse
facility. Our golf course produces approximately 32,000 rounds of golf a year.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT
The Architects Golf Club Restaurant and Grill Description
The Architects Golf Club Restaurant and Grill area was constructed, and is part of a
16,000 square foot clubhouse operation. The square footage space of the ballroom is
approximately 3,000 square feet and includes seating for approximately 200 people, an
outdoor courtyard, private meeting area and a full kitchen operation. The Grill is located
next to the practice putting area. The restaurant/grill is expected to provide food service
to golfers, the general public, and for special outings and group hospitality type events.
The hours of operation to be open are: one (1) hour before tee times begin and a
minimum of (1) hour after close of the golf course and may be open longer based on
special events that are scheduled. The golf course operator may use these existing
amenities or add to them.
The restaurant/grill is a separate room from the main ballroom and can run independently
of private events occurring in the ballroom. This space is approximately 1,000 square feet
indoors and seats 50 people, plus an outside 6,500 square foot patio, with a tent capable
of seating 300 people. The catering/restaurant/grill has a downstairs meeting room
capable of seating approximately 150 people.

General Information
The golf course is expected to receive 32,000 golf rounds annually. Golf outings will be
one of the key/core functions of the golf course from mid-April to the end of October.
The Architects Golf Club’s manager oversees all golf contract operations, maintenance
and clubhouse marketing and scheduling, as well as overseeing the restaurant/grill lease
contract.
The Architects Golf Club desires a restaurant/catering firm to lease the restaurant/grill
and catering space from The Architects Golf Club at the golf course for a minimum of
five (5) years with options for renewal. The restaurant/grill is expected to operate seven
(7) days a week in a casual environment. The banquet/catering operation will function on
a scheduled basis.
The Lessee will be expected to maintain, in excellent condition, all of the existing new
dining and banquet tables, chairs, and movable restaurant equipment such as tableware,
catering carts, kitchen supplies, dishes, silverware, etc.
The Architects Golf Club will furnish basic fixed kitchen equipment for the
restaurant/grill at the golf course. The Lessee, along with Architects, will plan the theme
and decor of the restaurant/grill at the golf course.
The restaurant Lessee will be expected to clean all areas of the clubhouse except the
pro-shop area. A cleaning service currently maintains all the common areas.
