The property is located along the Highway 365 Corridor which is exploding with new commercial and industrial activity: Kroger opened their largest store in the state in 2014 at exit 24 off I-985 on Limestone Parkway along with Publix beginning construction very soon. This Kroger has been a great success with other retailers following suit and opening large stores. This site is just north of the Gainesville Industrial Center and the new Lanier Technical College campus which opened in 2019. Lanier Tech is a state-of-the-art 317,000 SF facility with a 34,000 SF conference center totaling an investment of over $110 million. Additionally, Kubota also opened its' 600,000 SF expansion in Spring of 2017.
