Named by the community, The Garden is a 52,000 sq. ft. center that holistically serves Sharpstown/Gulfton-area youth. The Garden is a flourishing community that encourages the curiosity, growth, and well-being of young people through programming such as tutoring, dance, art, basketball, drumline and other activities. Each space of The Garden offers new possibilities through learning opportunities and experiences for all: aspiring athletes and dancers, students and artists, and so many more -- all experiencing community and belonging. The Garden is made possible by the generosity of the people of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church as well as through a number of significant gifts from family and private foundations based in Houston, Galveston and Midland.
