The Monterey Bernardo Vineyard is a modern and high-yielding vineyard just entering maturity in the prestigious Central Coast. Located in the San Ardo area of Monterey County with plenty of ample sunshine to develop Rhone style winegrapes, these young vines were planted in 2021 and 2022 to Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache and Sauvignon Blanc along a high-top trellis system, ideal for mechanical pruning and harvesting, with yields averaging 8-10 tons per acre. Water is provided by two irrigation wells, one of which was drilled in 2021, with a combined 1,660 gallons per minute. In addition, a 3,000 square foot metal shop building is located in the corner of the property and 165 acres of rangeland behind the vineyard provides an opportunity for livestock, recreation and a natural buffer.
