Cocina 47 is situated on the NW corner of 47th Street and Pennsylvania Ave, which is the main east-west thoroughfare of the Plaza. Construction commenced in August 2024 on the new state of the art 3-story restaurant building. Cocina 47 boasts a minimum of 16’ foot ceilings on each floor, floor to ceiling windows, and patio space for outdoor dining. Due to the age and historic nature of the rest of the Country Club Plaza most restaurants are limited to low ceiling heights, limited outdoor seating, and dating restaurant infrastructure. This is the first new construction, sole restaurant/retail building within the last 30 years.
