The Taylor, developed by Tricon Capital and designed by Diamond Schmitt Architects and Graziani + Corazza Architects, is a 36 storey, 286-unit, premium rental tower coming to the Toronto market. Currently under construction and scheduled for completion in Q4 2021, it marks the first purpose-built rental project coming to the King West neighbourhood in recent years. The commercial space occupying three full floors of the building’s podium will be designed for high density capacity. Ideally situated at King and Spadina, impressive branding potential exists as well as high-profile exposure to one of the city’s busiest intersections. Each floorplate will consist of roughly 14,000 square feet, with patios situated along the south side of each floor. Additionally, up to 27 commercial parking stalls will be available, alongside bike storage.
