Built-in 1916 by The Pomona Valley Canning Company, the Pomona Packing Plant was originally a packing house that processed and canned stone fruits, particularly yellow peaches. In 2013, Arteco Partners, a restoration and redevelopment firm focusing on historic buildings, renovated the Pomona Packing Plant into industrial art lofts, perfect for the artists and entrepreneurs of the creative economy. Today, the Packing Plant houses 22 industrial art lofts, spanning two square blocks and making this beautiful showcase of historical architecture the largest arts complex in the Pomona Arts Colony.
