The park has received numerous recent upgrades and has experienced excellent operating history. Situated on approx. 13 acres with room to expand, this park features 80 sites, including 34 full-service sites, 24 water and electricity sites, 4 electric sites, 3 electric metered sites, 10 tent sites, and 5 cabins. A mini-golf course and new playground set keeps the kids entertained for hours. The main building features the check-in area, a 575 sq. ft. general store stocked with camping and RV supplies and accessories, groceries, hot and cold beverages, local South Dakota beer, wine, cheese and souvenirs. In the main building you will also find the men’s and women's restrooms with private showers as well as a remodeled coin operated laundry facility. Other campground amenities include free WiFi, bike rentals, walking trails, a fenced-in dog run and a patio for gatherings, plus yard games including bean bag toss, giant Jenga and Connect-Four. Mitchell, SD, is less than one hour west of Sioux Falls, SD, and is strategically located between major Midwest population centers (Chicago, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, etc.) and popular RV destinations such as the Black Hills, Yellowstone, and other national parks. With a population of more than 15,000, Mitchell boasts many local attractions of its own, including the World’s Only Corn Palace and Cabela’s retail center.
