Parcel can be subdivided into yards as small as 1 acre or as large as 8 acres. I-2 General Industrial zoning is not as widely available since the Baltimore City was rezoned by TranForm that became effective June 2017. A city agency estimated 400 acres of industrial land were eliminated as a result of TransForm. Today, industrial land zoned I-2 is very difficult to find in Baltimore CIty.
400 W. North Avenue is ideal for storing materials, steel, pipes, brick and block, sand, gravel and recycled concrete and asphalt paving. The heavy industrial zoning allows concrete crushing, a concrete plant, and equipment storage.
