Originally constructed by Hewlett Packard as the headquarters of the HP components division. The site opened in 1984 and initially hosted facilities from bulk crystal growth, semiconductor substrate manufacturing, liquid phase epitaxy, wafer processing, as well as packaging and testing. Beginning in 1995 the site began semiconductor manufacturing and has been well maintained and given a substantial upgrade from 2010 to 2015.
