The site is bound to the north by Stanely Park Care Home; east and south by Moredun Playing Fields and to the west by Stanely Road, beyond which lies a mix of traditional detached residential housing, although Cala Homes have also developed in the immediate locale in more recent years. The site extends to approximately 0.32 hectares (0.81 acres) and is generally regular in shape with the perimeter defined by a stone wall and wire mesh fencing.
