Project 528 is located in the heart of the Cottonwood trade area in Albuquerque, NM. The Cottonwood trade area is the only regional destination on the west side of the city. Cottonwood Mall with Dillard’s, JC Penney, Hobby Lobby, Regal Cinemas and more than 135 specialty stores. Surrounding the mall is the who’s who of retailers: Costco, Sam’s, Kohl’s, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Petsmart, Walgreens, Walmart, Bed Bath & Beyond, Petco, Dick’s Sporting Goods and many other successful retailers. This trade area is also home to the full spectrum of restaurants: Pei Wei, Chili’s, Rudy’s BBQ, Hooters, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Buffalo Wild Wings, Garduno’s, Red Robin, Outback, Dion’s, Starbucks, Panda Express and Jason’s Deli. The Cottonwood trade area is strategically located west of the Rio Grande as it is the direct path of growth in Albuquerque and will experience continued residential and retail growth for the foreseeable future. This is due to the fact that Albuquerque can no longer grow to the north, south or east due to barriers (Sandia Reservation, Kirkland Airforce Base and the Sandia Mountains respectively).
