The Fox Theater Pomona, an iconic 1931 Art Deco landmark at 3rd Street and Garey Avenue, boasts an 81-foot tower with its signature neon “FOX” sign, lavish murals, ornate plasterwork, and one of the nation’s first commercial air-conditioning systems.
The landmark 1931 Pomona Fox Theater, a 1,700-seat vaudeville movie palace, underwent a $12 million renovation in 2009 and is now repositioned as a multi-purpose entertainment and events auditorium. The theater can host a range of events, including 2,000-person general admission live music concerts, 500-person stadium seating film screenings, 400-person dinner dance banquets, corporate seminars, high school graduations, community fundraisers, and even private dinner parties and social gatherings.
Today, it blends historic grandeur with modern amenities, featuring multiple bars, a rooftop lounge, and versatile event spaces that accommodate everything from concerts and film screenings to weddings and corporate galas, making it a centerpiece of Pomona’s vibrant Arts Colony.
